How it works

  1. Press the button

    That's all.

  2. Wait a moment

Usually a few seconds — as long as somebody is online.

  3. Talk

About whatever you want. Next gives you a different person at any moment.

What's here

Real people only

No bots, no AI partners. If nobody is online, the site says so instead of handing you a program.

Nothing to enter

No phone, no email, no name. A guest gets 5 conversations a day; an account removes the limit.

Grown-up talk, said plainly

Flirting and adult subjects are fine here — everyone on the site is 18 or over. No sex and no meetings: this is a text chat.

Your language first

The search starts with someone who speaks it. Allow any language and it widens.

Just the two of you

One-on-one, no audience, no group rooms. Your conversation is never published or sold.

Nothing owed

Nobody expects anything. You talk, then you go.

Why people come here

  1. Practise a language

Fifteen languages on the site. Talk to someone who actually speaks yours.

  2. Meet someone new

Someone you'd never run into otherwise, from wherever they happen to be.

  3. Be yourself

Nobody here knows you. No history, no reputation to protect.

  4. Say it out loud

Sometimes you need to tell someone. A stranger listens differently.

What happens to your data

Almost no data

No phone, no email, no name. Gender and age are optional. Your partner will see them.

Chats are deleted automatically

Chats are never published or sold. A chat is erased within 24 hours of ending; if somebody reported it, it waits until the report is dealt with — never longer than 30 days.

Leave whenever

One tap on Next and you're with someone else. No explaining.

Being straight with you

  1. There are no bots

Nobody here is a program. Quiet means quiet.

  2. The counter is live

It shows who is connected right now.

  3. There are no reviews

    Nobody made any up.

SayHello — anonymous chat with real people, no sign-up

SayHello is an anonymous chat where you talk one-on-one with a real person. No account, nothing to install, no personal details: open the site, press the button, and the search starts.

Why SayHello

Omegle is gone, and most of what replaced it is video, adverts and bots. Here it is text, one-on-one, and the person on the other end is a person.

  • No registration — a guest gets 5 conversations a day, and an account is free if you want more
  • One-on-one — no group rooms and no audience
  • No bots — real people only
  • Your language first — the search starts with people who speak it and widens only if you allow it
  • Honest numbers — the online counter shows people who are actually connected

How SayHello works

Press Start talking and within seconds you're in a conversation — as long as somebody is online. Don't want to carry on? Press Next. The chat gives you:

  • Text messages in real time
  • Photos — anyone can send one, opening a received photo needs an account
  • A typing indicator, so you can see the other person writing
  • Gender, age and language preferences
  • Any device: phone, tablet, laptop

Safety and anonymity

Anonymous doesn't mean lawless. What actually happens:

  • No account needed — you can talk as a guest
  • Your IP address and your location are never shown to the person you're talking to
  • Photos arrive blurred, and the person decides whether to open them
  • One tap on Next ends a conversation you don't want
  • Reports are read by a person, and repeated reports close search for a while
  • Conversations are erased within 24 hours of the chat ending

SayHello after Omegle

If you've been looking for somewhere to talk since Omegle closed, this is text-first and deliberately plain. How it differs from Chatrandom, Emerald Chat, Shagle or Camsurf:

  • Text only — no camera, nothing to show
  • One-on-one, not a roulette of rooms
  • No karma, no levels, nothing to farm
  • Real people, with no bots filling the gaps
  • Free to use, with no paid features

Who comes here

SayHello suits you if you want to:

  • Meet someone from a country you'll never visit
  • Practise a language with someone who actually speaks it
  • Say something out loud to a person who doesn't know you
  • Flirt and talk about grown-up things with another adult
  • Spend a dull evening on a conversation instead of a feed

Start now

Nothing to install. SayHello runs in your browser, on a phone just as well as on a laptop.

Press Start talking and you're in a conversation. That's the whole thing.

Questions people ask

What is SayHello?

A text chat where you talk one-on-one with a real person. No account, nothing to download — it runs in your browser. Press Start talking and the search begins.

Are there bots here?

No. Real people only.

Do I need an account?

No. As a guest you get 5 conversations a day and they come back the next day. An account is free: it removes the limit, lets you open photos you're sent, and lets you set who you're looking for.

Can I choose who I talk to?

You can say which gender and age you'd like. For the first 10 seconds of a search that counts as a requirement; after that it becomes a preference, so you don't wait all evening. Language works the same way — yours first, any language if you allow it.

How do I move on to someone else?

Press Next. The conversation ends and the search starts again. There's no limit on how often.

Can I send photos?

Anyone can send one. Opening a photo you receive needs an account — it makes it harder to push something at someone who didn't ask for it. Photos arrive blurred, and the person decides whether to open them.

What does it cost?

Nothing. There are no paid features.

What if nobody is there?

It happens, especially at night and in less common languages. The search doesn't switch off: you can keep waiting, allow any language, or come back later. An invented partner will never appear instead of a person.

How long do you keep my messages?

A chat is erased within 24 hours of it ending. The one exception is a chat somebody reported: that one is read, and it is kept until the report is dealt with — never longer than 30 days.
